1. Does it cost anything to join?
No, There are no initial or ongoing fees for members of our affiliate program.

2. How do I know I'm earning commission when my customers make reservations?
When one of your customers clicks the link to SightseeingWorld.com they will pick up a cookie which stores your unique identifier code. When a booking is made the cookie passes the information to the server and adds the record to your account.

3. Can I earn commissions if I am not in the USA?
You can be anywhere in the world. At the present time all payments are made in US $.

4. How can I check sales activity from my web site?
SightseeingWorld.com provides a web-based statistics package that tracks all reservations made through your site. You can access your sales statistics for the current month or for previous months at anytime.

5. Can I link to specific pages so that I may direct traffic more efficiently?
Yes, you may link to any page you like. Most of our affiliates link to a destination activity page or to a specific product. By sending customers to the information they need you will increase sales.

6. I have more than one web site– can I use the same code in each of them?
Yes, you may use the same code for each site or set up separate accounts for each so you can track each site individually. It is completely up to you.

7. What are my responsibilities as an affiliate?
Just add the links to your site - either banners or text (text is highly recommended) and wait for the commission checks.

8. What are Sightseeing World's responsibilities?
We will provide you with the tools and support you need to maximize sales through your site. We also handle all customers reservations, fulfillment and customer service. We will track all sales generated from your site and ensure that 24 hour live statistics are available to you.

9. I don't have a Web site. Can I still be an affiliate?
Yes. We can give you a URL to direct your customers to which will include you unique identifying code to ensure you are paid. Many of our partners use this in email marketing, newsletters and phone referrals.

10. If I become a Sightseeing World Affiliate, can I still participate in other affiliate programs?
Yes. SightseeingWorld will not restrict you in any way from participating in other affiliate programs.

11. Can I change my Affiliate partnership details?
Yes, you can change your details online at any time.

12. How much commission will I earn?
Sightseeing World pays 6 - 10% of gross retail price (excluding taxes and fees) on all sales made through your affiliated web site. (Rate depends on Tour Operator)

13. How often do I get paid?
You will be paid on the 15th of each month. If your commission for any month is less than $50, the total amount will be carried over to the next month. Once it surpasses $50, a check will be sent to you on the 15th of the month for the complete amount owed to your account.

14. Do I earn commissions on purchases I make myself?
Yes. Most of our affiliates use their sites for booking tours. Its a great way to get discounts on travel products.

15. What about cancellations?
If a user cancels a transaction, or if credit card charges are reversed due to a dispute or credit card fraud, your account will be debited for any commission earned on that transaction.

16. Where should I place the links/product pages on my site?
The positioning is up to you. We recommend links where it is most appropriate for the customers needs. This will increase you sales (and commissions!). Text links are far more effective than banner ads although a mix of both methods will increase awareness and ultimately sales.
