We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the city on the double decker bus and the the Alcatraz tour was fantastic. We will do it again when we come to San Francisco. Alcatraz is amazing - very atmospheric, especially if you take your head phones off during the tour. You don't often get silence like that in such a large crowd.
