Hawaii's Plantation Village in historic Waipahu is an outdoor museum that showcases the lives and experience of Hawaii's plantation workers. Furnished homes and other community structures, Plantation era architecture, along with antiques and relics display and interpret the history of Hawaii's multi-ethnic heritage.

First opened in 1992, Hawaii’s Plantation Village displays original structures and replica homes of multi-ethnic groups who came to Hawaii between the mid 1800s and the 1940s to work as plantation laborers, the museum is situated on a 50-acre site just below the Oahu Sugar Mill.

12) Honolulu Academy of Arts

Travel with the island’s premier eco-tour company on an exciting journey of discovery to the famous North Shore of Oahu. Driving over the Ko’olau Mountains to the windward side, the first stop is the fabled Valley of the Temples where you'll visit the picturesque Byodo Temple located at the base of stunning 2000 foot lush green cliffs.

The The North Shore Adventure tour will then drive along the scenic shores of Kahana Bay arriving at Laie Point, a great location to observe several native plant and seabird species. Continuing North to Kahuku, you'll visit several shrimp farms to see endangered wetland birds, including the Black-neck stilt, Hawaiian coot and Moorhen. On December 7, 1941, Hawaii was suddenly thrust onto the world stage as the Japanese attacked the US Pacific Fleet, taking 2,390 lives, most of them aboard the USS Arizona. The Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor was constructed to honor the lives taken on that tragic day. Each year millions of visitors are awestruck by the memorial which spans the sunken USS Arizona. To this day the USS Arizona still continues to discharge oil to the surface of the water - a somber reminder of the sacrifices made over 60 years ago.

Any reservation cancelled within 24 hours of tour departure are 100% non-refundable. If the total price of your purchase is less than $25 you will only be charged the amount of the activity.
